How to install RateCompass

Manual Installation
Before you can start using the service, you need to register as a user and then create a "Compass" for each online store where you intend to use the service.
To register, click the "Register" button on the homepage, which will open the registration form.
After registering, you can access the service's management interface, where you need to create a new Compass for each online store where you plan to use the service. The Compass contains store-specific settings that control how reviews are requested from customers and how they are displayed in the online store.
Creating a new Compass is done by selecting "Compasses" from the left menu and then clicking the "New Compass" button.
Clicking the button opens a form that needs to be carefully filled out. Once the form is completed and saved, the system creates a new Compass in the service. A new row is added under "Compasses," and "Compass" with quick links to key Compass functions appears in the left menu.
At the same time, the system generates a JavaScript code snippet that should be copied into the <head></head>
section of the online store's template. You can view the script by clicking on the Compass row under "Compasses."
Once the JavaScript is copied into the online store, the service is ready to use. The service sends review requests to end customers for every completed order according to the Compass settings. Reviews received are displayed in the online store after approval in the RateCompass service. Compass settings can be optimized for the approval process.
Automatic Installation for ePages Now and Vilkas Now Online Stores
In ePages Now and Vilkas Now online stores, you can find the RateCompass application in the app store, simplifying the installation process.
To initiate the installation, navigate to the store's administration and select the "App Store." In the App Store, you will find the RateCompass application under "Sales and Marketing." Upon opening the application, you will notice the "Install" button.
By clicking the "Install" button, you will be redirected to the RateCompass service registration page. On this page, you can either register as a new user or log in if you already have an existing account.
The installation process automatically creates a Compass for your online store in the RateCompass service and configures the Compass settings accordingly. Afterward, the user is automatically directed back to the online store.
The service is now ready for use, but we recommend that users log in to the RateCompass service and review the settings of the newly created Compass to ensure everything operates smoothly.
